playstation 3 80 gb( does not read or accept disk) for parts or repairs ?

this ps3 works fine other that it has a crack in the casing which is easily replaceable (as u can see in the second picture) and its does not read or even let me put a disk into the console, everything else works fine i can connect to the internet and download demos and play them, just needs fixing and im not sure how to so its no use to me.
